Whitmore's disease in four Thailand provinces

At least 10 farmers from the provinces of Buri Ram, Nakhon Ratchasima and Songkhla have succumbed to melioidosis, sparking a warning from health authorities. News sources report almost 600 cases from the same provinces this year, with many of those infected aged over 65 years.
