USA Warnings over rabies in Alaska’s wildlife

Alaskan pet owners in Nome, its surrounds and St. Lawrence Island have been cautioned to ensure their dogs and cats are up to date with their compulsory rabies vaccinations after a ‘dramatic increase in positive rabies cases in foxes and dogs’ which has increased the risk of exposure to humans.
