Texas confirms first human bird flu case

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has reported one confirmed human case of the avian influenza A(H5N1) virus in Texas. It is confirmed that the infected patient did have direct exposure to cattle with suspected avian flu infections. Read more
