New studies on typhoid fever in Fiji

The rise in Fiji of typhoid fever incidences (both urban and rural) over the last ten years appears to be primarily due to the ‘consumption of contaminated surface water and unwashed produce’ according to a recent study partnered by New Zealand’s University of Otago.
