Mpox epidemic declared in Congo

A Mpox epidemic has been officially declared by the Republic of Congo following ~20 confirmed cases of the virus across five different regions. Residents are being warned by local health authorities to limit handling of game meat, limit their contact with animals and avoid contact with individuals they suspect may be infected. Read more
