Measles continues its march in the Central African Republic

More districts are now reporting measles cases as the outbreak moves into its second year – new weekly cases (suspected) rose by over 900 and five more districts have been impacted. The Feb 9 WHO bulletin also provides updates on other measles outbreaks in the African region, including the DRC (Maidombe, Equateur, Bas-uele, Kongo central and Mongala provinces), Chad (Beboto, Korbol and Kelo) and Ethiopia (Oromia region).
