Flu escalates further

The World Health Organization (WHO) global influenza update of Jan 8th has identified a B strain as the predominant virus affecting areas of both the north and the south of China, and also in South Korea. Elsewhere, influenza-like activity was raised in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia; North America (Canada & USA); northern & SW Europe (incl. UK & France); and Western Asia.
