First YF monkey deaths for decades in Trinidad & Tobago

No local human yellow fever (YF) cases have been reported for decades but after routine surveillance detected several dead red howler monkeys infected with the virus, health officials say they are on high alert and have advised the public to ensure their vaccinations are current.
