Dengue cases surge in Sudan

A hospital in Khartoum, Sudan has reported over 700 dengue cases. Health workers attribute the surge to insufficiently disposed of medical waste/human organs and overall poor sanitisation. The war-torn capital’s healthcare system is threatening collapse as case numbers continue to rise. Read more
