Overview
Estonia is the smallest of the three Baltic States, situated in north eastern Europe between Latvia and the Russian Federation. Its territory includes over one thousand islands in the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga. Most of the countryside is undulating and at low altitudes.
Estonia experiences cold winters and mild summers with January temp averaging - 5°C and summer temps around 17°C.
