Total oropouche cases nearing 10,000 in the Americas

North and South America combined have reported close to 10,000 cases of oropouche fever thus far this year, with the most heavily affected countries being Brazil, Cuba and Peru. As of September 2024, six countries have surpassed 1,500 cases each. Read more
