Thailand, Rainmaking to overcome pollution issues in Bangkok

In an effort to reduce hazardous pollution in Bangkok, the Thai government is releasing artiicial rainmaking technology to generate rain.  The pollution control department has identified that some areas across Bangkok exceed the Thai safety limit of polluion by 50 microgrammes per cubic metre.  In particular, some Eastern areas of the city and beyond will be subject to the rainmaking technology as well as Ban Na, Sai Mai, Lat Krabang and Bang Kapi.  Read more
