Nipah outbreak declines, dengue rises in India

An expected rise in mosquito-borne infections has come with the recent monsoonal rains in the country’s south-west (Bengaluru, Kozhikode, Ernakulam). State authorities in Maharashtra have identified 452 dengue cases, with a warning to be wary during monsoon season.
