High flu rates countrywide

The health ministry reports that the age group hardest hit in this flu season is children from five to nine years while overall cases have reached new peaks for three consecutive weeks. While all prefectures have reported ‘alert levels of influenza’, those with the highest burden are Oita, Fukuoka, Saitama and Kochi. Read more
