Global Polio update

A single case of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) was confirmed in the northern province of Nampula in the latest GPEI update, the second to be reported in the province this year. Also in Africa, the D R of Congo logged 11 cVDPV2cases (10 in Maniema province, one in Sud-Kivu), while a single case was recorded in Nigeria’s Bauchi state. Read more
