Germany's tick activity reaches 10 year high

Castor bean tick numbers have reached a 10-year high this year with numbers rising across the country. The south has exceeded last year’s record high tick-borne encephalitis figures, and residents and travellers at risk are advised to consider appropriate measures to avoid tick bites and vaccination.
