Gastro hits Patagonia region of Argentina

Norovirus has sickened at least 850 people in the popular tourist destination city of San Carlos de Bariloche in the country’s Patagonia region. Over a 3-week period, the virus spread quickly among a (mostly) student population and on to the general community, however, in recent days there has been a decline in new cases, from 300 per day at the peak down to less than five.
