Cutaneous leishmaniasis uptick near capital in Iran

Health authorities have warned that cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis are on the rise in Varamin, a county located close to Tehran. At least 48 cases have been reported and all are receiving treatment. Separate cutaneous leishmaniasis reports have surfaced from Libya (Bani Walid) and in North East Syria.  Read more
