Serbia is a nation located in south east Europe amongst the central Balkans. It shares borders with Hungary to the north, Romania nd Bulgaria to the east, Macedonia to the south and Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania. Serbia has a total land mass of 88,361 sq. km and a population of approximately 7 million people.

Serbia’s climate is warm-humid continental or humid subtropical. The climate is more continental in the north with hot, humid summers and cold winters. Summers are drier in the south with relatively cold winters. Average January temperatures are around 0°C whilst in July they are 22°C.
