Overview

St. Chritopher is located at the northern end of the Leeward Islands in the West Indies. Both islands are volcanic in origin and are dominated by mountains. Both islands have good rivers. Over three quarters of the population lives on St. Kitts. Tourism and sugar production provide income.

The climate is tropical with average temperatures around 26°C. Sea winds modify the temperatures and hurricanes can occur July to October.
