Typhoid fever in Ethiopia

An outbreak of typhoid fever has killed one person and affected more than 100 in the northern Tigray region of Ethiopia the United Nations Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs said on 27 July, adding that 11 others have also died of acute watery diarrhoea across the country.

Tigray is in the north-eastern part of the country.
