Q: I will be heading to Hong Kong with my partner next Monday, I was told by my doctor getting the h1n1 vaccination shot wasn't needed, is this true?

A: No, not true. It is important that all Australians are protected against the pandemic H1H1 2009 virus by getting the new free vaccine. This is especially true for travellers, who are more likely to meet the virus and get sick while traveling, particularly those going to the northern hemishere where the virus is circulating right now.
