Location:
We have recently moved to a fabulous heritage-listed building (see picture on the right) in the heart of Fremantle. We are on the corner of High & Stirling Streets and are only a 5 minute walk from the Fremantle train station.
Parking:
To ensure your visit with us is stress-free right from the beginning, there are plenty of free parking spots available on Stirling Street
Staff:
Dr David Rutherford BSc, MB ChB, FRACGP, DTMH. Clinical Lecturer UWA.
David is currently the Medical Director at the Fremantle clinic. He is a keen traveller and has worked in the field of Travel Medicine and Diving Medicine since 1995, initially in the Perth clinic and since 1998 at Fremantle. He has completed the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and hygiene in Liverpool, UK. He has travelled mainly in Africa, Asia, Europe and Central America and is an avid Scuba Diver.
Dr John Terry MBBS (Lon) FRACGP
John has worked in the area of travel medicine since 1992. He also works in General Practice with a special interest in counselling.He has travelled extensively in the developing world and this includes travelling overland from Australia to the UK and Los Angeles to La Paz in Bolivia. He has also spent time in India and Nepal and trekking in Nepal is one of his favourite subjects!
Dr Raphael Beilin MBBS FRACGP
Raphael has worked at the Fremantle clinic since 1999. His travel experiences include several months working on a Kibbutz in Israel, many trips to Asia, North Africa and Europe. However his favourite destinations are Borneo and New Zealand. His responsibilities at the practice include the monitoring and mapping of disease outbreaks.Raphael is also an experienced general practitioner having worked in Leeming for the past 10 years.
Dr Aidan Perse MBBS FRACGP
Aidan is a locally trained doctor with a longstanding interest in travel. He has worked at Travel Doctor Fremantle since 2001.He has travelled predominantly in Asia (including working in an eye camp in India) as well as North Africa, Europe and North America. He has completed a course in travel medicine through the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 1998 and worked at Leeuwin Safe Haven with refugees from Kosovo and East Timor in 1999. In addition all of our doctors are extensively travelled and keep up to date with all of the latest developments in travel medicine.
