Cholera in the Americas

From 1 January to 8 July 2016, a total of 22,556 cholera cases have been recorded from three countries in the Americas: Ecuador, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Haiti alone registered 96 per cent of the total cases in 2016 in t he Region of the Americas.
