Measures to Contain Typhoid in Tonga

The government of Tonga has taken measures to control the outbreak of typhoid by banning the production of food for public consumption and the serving of kava in town halls. Up to 11 cases have been identified, with 5 of those from the village of Veitongo, about 8kms from the centre of Nuku’alofa. Read more.
