Dengue Increase in Fiji

According to figures released on dengue fever cases for the year up to April 2nd,  the central division of Fiji (eastern region of the largest island, Viti Levu, including the capital Suva) recorded the highest number of incidences. Overall there were 913 cases. The health ministry notes that concerted efforts to eliminate dengue have not been effective, in fact there has been a yearly increase in incidences. Read more.
