Cholera Surge in Doolo

A severe drought in the eastern Somali region has led to a cholera outbreak that has produced 3,500 cases in the last month alone. Doolo zone, which lies near the border with Somalia, has been particularly hard hit; Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is providing humanitarian aid. Read more in ProMED post.
