Ivory Coast: Dengue outbreak hits. The rainy season is in full swing, mosquito breeding sites are abundant and the local population lacks awareness of the dangers of dengue fever. A WHO risk assessment of the dengue outbreak that began in late April is moderate on a national level. Most cases have been in the capital, Abidjan.
